Excellent quickness...Is pretty strong...Offers a lot of versatility...Has a terrific first step...Does a nice job in pursuit...Relentless with a non-stop motor...Nice instincts and awareness...Good athleticism...Nice production...A hard worker...Team leader.
Weaknesses:
'Tweener who lacks the bulk to play inside and the speed to play outside...Is not real powerful...Shorter than you'd prefer...Has trouble shedding blocks...Isn't fast and lacks a burst to close...Not creative as a pass rusher...Isn't stout at the point.
Notes:
Began his college career as a linebacker...Played defensive end in 2004 and 2005 before moving inside to defensive tackle in 2006 and 2007..Missed most of the '05 season with a torn ACL...A very good college player who simply does not have the physical tools you look for at the next level....His best fit in the NFL might come as a 3-4 defensive end..Could maybe compete for a roster spot in the right situation.
