He doesn't have either the height or bulk that you look for...Timed speed is below average...Struggles versus the run...Not stout at the point of attack...Hips are stiff and could be a liability in coverage..Questionable awareness...Inconsistent motor.

His father Jumpy Geathers played defensive line in the NFL for 13 seasons...Uncle Robert Geathers, Sr. played in the NFL for six years with the Buffalo Bills....Cousin Robert Geathers Jr. currently plays for the Cincinnati Bengals....He spent one year at Butler Community College in Kansas..Also being looked at as a possible outside linebacker...He came out early after his junior season and that might have been a mistake...May not have all the physical tools you look for but he knows how to get after the quarterback which should earn him a roster spot somewhere in the NFL.
