Good size and bulk...Great athleticism...Very good timed speed...Has a very good motor...Excellent instincts...Has great sideline-to-sideline range...Holds his own in zone coverage...Smart with a high football IQ...Hard worker with solid intangibles.

Weaknesses:
Doesn't play up to his workout numbers...Can be too aggressive at times...Is not a consistent tackler....Has trouble matching up in man coverage...Struggles when he has to take on and shed blockers....Offers very little as a pass rusher / blitzer.

Notes:
Father Shelvy played basketball at Arkansas St...Has starting experience on both the weakside and the strongside...A "Workout Warrior" who really blew up at the Scouting Combine where he placed among the Top 10 players at his position in a lot of the events...A good player with starting potential but could get overdrafted.
