Strengths:
Has very good size and a big frame with long arms...Good athleticism...Strong and powerful..Mobile with decent range and can get to the second level...Nice balance and agility...Very quick...Light on his feet..Does an excellent job in pass protection and makes it look easy at times...Capable of getting a push in the run game...Can hold his ground at the point of attack...He is still developing and has a big upside.
Weaknesses:
Doesn't have a lot of experience...Sub par footwork...Plays with poor leverage...Is not very aggressive...Has a long way to go from a technique standpoint...May lack a fire in his belly..He underachieves and doesn't always play up to his talent level.
Notes:
Two-year starter, one at right tackle as a sophomore and then one at left tackle as a junior...Intriguing prospect who really saw his draft stock soar in '07...Would have been better off going back to school for one more year to maximize his pro grade...Still raw but he has the type of physical tools you look for and most of his weaknesses can be corrected...Has the potential to start at the next level in time.
