Strengths:
Adequate size and bulk...Excellent athleticism...Good speed..Mobile enough to buy time in the pocket and makes plays with his feet...Has a strong arm and can make all the throws..Can throw on the run..Still improving and might have some upside.
Weaknesses:
Isn't very accurate...Too eager to run...He has trouble reading defenses...Makes a lot of bad decisions...Struggles with touch passes..Still need technique work...Has some character concerns....Might have to make a position change at the pro level.
Notes:
Invited walk-on at Marshall that earned a scholarship..Pled guilty to misdemeanor charge of battery in 2005..Had a fantastic week at the Hula Bowl and that is what essentially put him on the prospect map...A developmental signal caller with some raw physical tools who could be brought in late but is probably a 2-3 year project.
