Strengths:
Has outstanding size and bulk...Very strong and powerful...Quick and plays faster than he timed in workouts...Great athlete...Difficult to tackle and doesn't go down easily...A beast in short-yardage situations...Productive....Still has a ton of upside.
Weaknesses:
Did not play against top competition...Timed speed is just average...Not real shifty and doesn't have much wiggle...Might have trouble turning the corner at the next level...Runs with poor pad level...Intelligence is a major issue...Limited experience.
Notes:
Grew up in Canada...Emerged as a top U.S. college prospect in 2005 when he led Canada past the United States in the 2005 NFL Global Junior Championship game, running for 308 yards and 2 touchdowns..Originally signed with Rutgers but never played because of academics...Spent two seasons at North Dakota State College of Science and received a number of Division I scholarship offers but wound up at NAIA Graceland in Iowa when he once again failed to qualify academically...Missed the first half of the 2007 season with a knee injury...Small school sleeper who had the talent to play with the big boys but just never got that opportunity due to his grades....Is eerily reminiscent of Derrick Ward when he was coming out of college.
