Has superb size and a solid frame...Excellent instincts...Playmaker with a knack for being around the ball...Real strong...Tough and physical..Sure tackler but can also lay the lumber...Does a nice job against the run...Smart and a hard worker...Active with a great motor...Good hands and ball skills...Immense special teams potential.

Weaknesses:
Is not a great natural athlete but better than he's given credit for...Does not have the timed speed you look for...Isn't very quick and lacks a burst to recover...Might be a little one-dimensional...Was only a starter for one season in college...Doesn't flip his hips well and will struggle in man coverage...Might not have a huge upside.

Notes:
Nickname is Surfer Boy...Older brother Kevin was the starting fullback at L.S.U. for three years...Would like to be an Ultimate Fighter..Came through with a big senior campaign...The perception is that he's an overachiever and just a backup but that might be a worst-case scenario..Underrated prospect who has the talent to start.
