Is smart with good instincts and awareness...Team leader...A hard worker with a great motor...Tough and physical....Very active and aggressive...Great hands and ball skills...Reliable tackler...Will come up and support the run...Lots of experience.
Weaknesses:
Does not have the size or bulk that you look for...Timed speed is just average at best...Is not very explosive and lacks a burst...Has some durability concerns....Is not very strong...Sometimes late to react...'Tweener?..May not have much upside.
Notes:
Began his college career as a wide receiver ( 2003-04 ) and then moved to safety in 2005...Was a three-year starter..Missed some time with hip, wrist and shoulder injuries in college....Profiles as a backup but real value will come on special teams.
