Strengths:
Excellent size and bulk with a big frame and long arms...Pretty good athlete...Has soft, reliable hands...Can make something happen after the catch...Good strength and shows some power..Runs decent routes and knows how to get open..Upside.
Weaknesses:
Doesn't have great timed speed...Is not very physical or aggressive...Should be a much better blocker than he is...Won't stretch the field vertically...Work ethic has been questioned..Pretty inconsistent..Ran into trouble and character is a concern.
Notes:
Began his college career as a wide receiver..He was cited for criminal mischief and harassment after an altercation with his girlfriend in May of '07....Has a number of other off-the-field incidents in his past, with most of them stemming from maturity issues...Lost his starting job as a senior...Underachiever who has some talent but may lack the intangibles to ever maximize it..Is at most a backup at the next level.
